All those who move to Wake Robin move here, living independently in an apartment or cottage. Every applicant is considered on an individual basis, and is evaluated based on industry standards for determining financial and health eligibility. To become a resident of Wake Robin you’ll submit a confidential financial statement for review. You should have a gross monthly income equal to two times the monthly fee for the apartment or cottage you’ve chosen. Admissions decisions take into account your age, total assets, and income profile. You’ll also be evaluated by Wake Robin’s Medical Director, whose assessment must confirm that you are able to live independently, with reasonable accommodation, and are likely to be independent for at least two years. Age guidelines established by the Town of Shelburne require that one person living in an apartment or cottage be at least age 60. There is an Entrance Fee surcharge for applicants under age 65 to cover expanded risk. |
