Wake Robin is a free-standing, single-site CCRC (Continuing Care Retirement Community. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, governed by a local board of directors. How many people live at Wake Robin? Presently, there are 335 residents. Of these, appproximately 260 live in one of Wake Robin’s 114 apartments and 98 cottages. The remaining 82 live in the Linden Health Center, receiving skilled nursing, long-term care or residential care, which is similar to assisted living. What does it cost to live at Wake Robin? Everyone who comes to Wake Robin pays an initial entrance fee--a “prepayment” of long-term care—and a monthly fee (Click here for Fee Schedule). For an individual, this fee ranges from $160,000 for a 557-square-foot one-bedroom apartment to $576,000 for a 2,448-square-foot two-bedroom cottage, with monthly fees from $2,608 to $6,694, depending on square footage. There is a Depositor program if you want to be considered for a particular style of apartment or cottage, or if you want to plan several years in advance for your future. Are pets welcome at Wake Robin? Yes. Two (well-behaved) pets are permitted for each home. Who supplies your food service? Wake Robin’s own dining service department, directed by a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, operates 5 dining rooms and caters private parties. Can guests visit and stay overnight at Wake Robin? Yes. Guests are welcome to stay with you or spend the night in one of our guest cottages, for a nominal charge. A meal is included for those who stay in the guest cottage. |
